This accommodation is separate from Bush Camp and the Leadwood and Tamboti campsites.
Life at camp alternates between evenings facing the water from the lounge and hide, and departures for the reserve’s trails and tracks. The tents offer proximity to the bush while retaining access to shaded communal areas. Families with young children are directed to Bush Camp or Forest Camp, while couples seeking a high-end stay are steered toward tailor-made options.

Good to know
Best time to visit
Around Onguma, plan game drives and time at the hides for the cooler hours, with water, a hat and neutral-coloured clothing. Take midday breaks in the shade facing the water and limit movement during the hottest hours.
Stay advice
Ask about a transfer from the private airstrip if you arrive by air, and clarify the tent type, access to the terrace facing the water and the camp’s arrangements for outings.
