Access is by 4x4 through the national park, with pickup available by prior arrangement from Sangwali Village. Guided safaris, night outings and boat cruises on the Linyanti channels shape the days on site. The unfenced camp requires strict discipline when moving between tents and communal areas.

Best time to visit
Plan an expedition to Nkasa Rupara around the tracks, water and the park’s isolation. Bring a suitable 4x4 vehicle, a water reserve, neutral-coloured clothing and extra time for arranged transfers.
Stay advice
Book any transfer from Sangwali in advance and check 4x4 access conditions in the park. Follow instructions strictly in the unfenced camp and limit moving around alone, especially after dark.
